We developed the KeyKeg as a sustainable solution. Its extreme lightweightness implies a minimum use of raw materials. Furthermore using KeyKeg will imply a considerable reduction in energy use and therefore CO2 emissions during its life time. The launch of this disposable keg is therefore a big step forward for the environment, the people and business.
Right from the start we decided to fulfill not the obligatory one, but two of Europe's essential environmental criteria for packaging. Our disposable kegs are now therefore ready for both mechanical recycling and energy recovery. This offers our clients an important choice since the material recycling and energy recovery possibilities vary significantly per country.
We believe that the selected plastics are among the most resource efficient materials available to society and too valuable to waste with landfill. We feel responsible for our products after their first use too and look carefully with our clients to the most optimal material recycling and/or energy recovery strategy for their disposbale kegs.
